Founded in 2021, Dyrnewood is a musical project that draws inspiration from the iconic sound of the late sixties and early seventies, blending elements from a variety of different genres into a firm pop-rock paradigm.
British proto-progressive, psychedelia, folk rock, and Canterbury scene constitute some of those elements, along with less palpable influences like late renaissance and baroque music, bossa nova, jazz fusion and even black metal.
Dedicated to exploring mystical and nature-oriented themes, Dyrnewood's lyrics inquire hermetic and pagan subjects, driven by a curiosity for the mysteries of the universe and a belief in the power of the individual to connect with the cosmos.
